Coming Soon: NCDF Community Day!

December 5, 2011 § 2 Comments

The NC Dance Festival welcomes the dance community to the first annual NCDF Community Day on January 28, 2012 in downtown Greensboro. Take class in the morning with Festival artists Gary Taylor of the Winston-Salem Festival Ballet and Helen Simoneau of Helen Simoneau Danse at the Cultural Arts Center in downtown Greensboro (200 N. Davie St).  Mingle with other NC dance artists and stay for an afternoon of performances by choreographers from Greensboro, Charlotte, and the Triangle. The afternoon performance is free and open to the public.  Stop by for just one event or join us for a full day of dance!

We are also offering NC choreographers the chance to get a professional quality DVD made of one of their dances for only $40.  Applying for a job? Want to submit your choreography to a dance festival?  Don’t miss this valuable opportunity to further your career at an affordable rate!  Interested choreographers may get details and sign up for a time slot by emailing ncdancefest@gmail.com.  You must reserve your spot no later than January 25.

Register in advance for the master classes to take advantage of our special pricing: Take one master class for only $10 or both for $18 if your payment is received by January 27!  To register, bring your payment and class selection to the Dance Project office (Cultural Arts Center, City Arts office 101b) Monday-Thursday 9-3, or mail your class selection and a check (made out to Dance Project) to: 200 N. Davie St #7, Greensboro, NC 27401.  Class prices on Community Day are $12 for one class and $22 for both.
